On July 5, 2024, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Charleston Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire on Nassau Street in Charleston, South Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 33-year-old Richard Ernest Warren Jr., a resident of Adams Run, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services pronounced him deceased at the scene.
