On August 31, 2024, 31-year-old Shaquille M. Swinton was found with a gunshot wound behind a Walgreens on John C. Calhoun Drive in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Despite emergency responders' efforts, Swinton succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
