D'ante Jashaun Archie, a 20-year-old resident of Sumter County, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 12, 2024, in Wedgefield, SC. The Sumter County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) responded to a call about an unconscious person near a home on Byas Road, off Cane Savannah Road, around 9:50 a.m. on October 14. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Archie's body and his vehicle parked on the road.
