In the early morning hours of November 2, 2024, a dispute within a Piedmont, South Carolina, apartment ended in the tragic death of 64-year-old Lewis Anthony Polk. A Black male, Mr. Polk was fatally shot at his residence in the Signature Pointe Apartments on Emily Lane. The incident, which unfolded around 4:30 a.m., also left two other people injured.
