In the late hours of a November night in Florence, South Carolina, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of Yvonne Street. On November 11, 2024, 26-year-old Leon Christopher Shaw Jr. was shot in an incident that would ultimately claim his life. He was rushed to McLeod Regional Medical Center, where he fought for two days before succumbing to his injuries on November 13, 2024.
