On May 31, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Alligator, Mississippi, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Antwon Scott. The young resident of Alligator lost his life to gun violence, leaving the community in shock.

The severity of Scott's injuries necessitated his airlift to a medical facility for emergency treatment. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, Antwon Scott succumbed to his wounds.
