Ayairia Me'Arie Anderson, a 21-year-old pregnant woman from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident on June 11, 2023. Anderson, who was eight months pregnant at the time, was leaving Scoop's restaurant on Country Club Drive when she was shot in the head and leg. Her vehicle eventually crashed at an overpass, and she was rushed to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) by ambulance.
