In the summer of 2023, the life of a Greenville, Mississippi man was tragically cut short by violence. Garrett Albert, a 52-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the evening of Monday, July 17th. The incident occurred on Elm Street, where responding officers discovered Albert with gunshot wounds.
