On October 28, 2023, 61-year-old Marvin Schwartz was fatally shot in his home in the Ansley community of Lakeshore, Mississippi. The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m., following an argument between Marvin and his nephew, 25-year-old Devin Schwartz. Devin reportedly fired between 8 to 12 rounds into his uncle's residence from outside the house.
