On January 13, 2024, Marcus Jones, a 38-year-old resident of Greenville, Mississippi, was fatally shot in the 400 block of North Edison. Police responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. and found two individuals with gunshot wounds. Jones succumbed to his injuries, while the other victim was airlifted for medical treatment.
