In the small town of Tchula, Mississippi, a family dispute turned deadly, leaving one brother dead and another in custody. On the morning of Tuesday, February 13, 2024, police responded to a call at a residence on Middle Street. Inside, they discovered the body of 43-year-old Demarus Gray, a Black male, in a bedroom. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the head, and a bullet shell casing was found underneath his body.
