On May 14, 2024, 49-year-old Charles Westbrook was fatally shot at Westbrooks Grocery Store, located at 937 Sharkey Road in Charleston, Mississippi. The incident occurred after business hours, and upon arrival, authorities found Westbrook deceased from gunshot wounds.
The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Melvin Lee, was arrested at the scene without incident. Lee has been charged with murder and is currently in custody. The motive behind the shooting remains under investigation. ...Read More
