On August 24, 2024, in Carthage, Mississippi, 28-year-old Kelly Nicole Duarte was found deceased in her home. A concerned friend, unable to reach her throughout the day, discovered Kelly lying face down and unresponsive. Nearby, Kelly's husband, Reynaldo Duarte, was found hanging and unresponsive. A third individual, Robert Walker, was also found unresponsive at the scene. Law enforcement officials recovered multiple spent shell casings and a firearm from inside the residence.
