On the morning of August 26, 2024, the quiet of a Terry, Mississippi neighborhood was shattered by a fatal act of violence that ended the life of 64-year-old Kathleen Morris. A White female, she was discovered by Hinds County deputies inside her Green Gable Road home with at least one gunshot wound to her upper body. The initial call to authorities came from a startling source: her own husband, 67-year-old Tony Morris, who informed dispatchers that he had shot his wife.
