On what should have been a festive Christmas Eve in 2024, a tragedy unfolded in a quiet home in Terry, Mississippi, ending the life of 65-year-old Dawn Marie Tillman. Deputies from the Hinds County Sheriff's Office were called to a residence on Doc Henry Cove at approximately 5:40 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Inside, they made a grim discovery. Dawn, a white female, was found deceased, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
