In the late summer of 2024, the life of Kasim Hassan Turner, a 28-year-old male from Utica, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. On Thursday, September 5, 2024, his body was discovered near the intersection of Maddox Road and TV Road in Jackson. An investigation by the Hinds County coroner's office would later confirm that Turner had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
