On February 24, 2023, Tieasha Oliver, 38, and her son Jaquan West, 22, were found dead in their apartment at Minges Creek Place in Battle Creek, Michigan. The discovery was made by a relative who called 911 at 6:37 p.m., reporting two deceased individuals inside the residence. Battle Creek Police responded to the scene and confirmed that Oliver and West had died, with initial indications suggesting they were victims of murder.
