In early March 2023, the family of 26-year-old Jihad (Jake) Adnan Nasser reported him missing after he failed to attend his mother's memorial service in February. His family had not seen him since December 2022, and neighbors last saw him in January 2023. Nasser was from Clare County, Michigan, and authorities noted he might have had family in the Dearborn Heights area.
