On July 8, 2023, 17-year-old Coreleon Antonio Gordon was fatally shot in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Summit Park Court in the city's Douglass Neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety found Gordon critically wounded from gunfire.
