On July 8, 2023, 17-year-old Coreleon Antonio Gordon was fatally shot in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Summit Park Court in the city's Douglass Neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety found Gordon critically wounded from gunfire. Despite emergency medical treatment and transportation to a nearby hospital, Gordon was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
