On July 13, 2023, Mohamed Ahmed, a 37-year-old owner of Loud Headz Hookah in Harper Woods, Michigan, was shot and killed outside his business. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. while Ahmed was sitting in a minivan with another individual. Both were targeted in the shooting, which took place in broad daylight on Kelly Road near Moross. Ahmed was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting, leaving behind a pregnant wife and five children.
