In the quiet morning hours of July 13, 2023, in Harper Woods, Michigan, tragedy struck Mohamed Ahmed, a 37-year-old male business owner. Ahmed, the proprietor of the Loud Headz hookah lounge on Kelly Road, was seated in a minivan outside his establishment at approximately 9 a.m. when the tranquil morning was shattered by gunfire.
