On July 30, 2023, Shelly Pettaway, a 28-year-old pregnant woman from Inkster, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed along with her boyfriend. The couple was found shot to death inside their car in Inkster. Pettaway, who was also known as "Shel Bell," was a mother of three children at the time of her death, with her unborn child being her fourth.
