On October 8, 2024, Sidney Ward III, a 20-year-old resident of Highland Park, Michigan, was shot and killed in a tragic incident that unfolded in a Pontiac apartment. The shooting occurred around 8:22 AM at an apartment complex located on North Sanford Street near Fiddis Avenue. Ward was pronounced dead at the scene, while his companion, 24-year-old Tyrone Davis Glenn Jr., succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to a hospital.
