On August 30, 2023, at approximately 10:26 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in Baltimore, Maryland, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Thomas Bekele. The shooting took place in the 500 block of Wellesley Street, where officers responded to reports of gunfire.
