On the afternoon of September 7, 2023, the body of 18-year-old Todd Anthony Cornish was discovered in a lot filled with high grass in the 1200 block of Aisquith Street in East Baltimore. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 5:00 p.m. The young Black male had sustained gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy by the Medical Examiner's Office.
At the time of the discovery, Mr.
Cornish's body was found in a decomposed state, indicating some time had passed since his death. The Baltimore Police Department promptly launched a homicide investigation into the shooting.
