In the afternoon hours of November 15, 2023, the life of Kenneth L. Wilson, Jr., a 32-year-old man from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded in the Ellwood Park/Monument neighborhood, where police responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 500 block of North Curley Street at approximately 4 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Mr. Wilson suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but despite the efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced deceased shortly after his arrival.
Known affectionately as 'Lil' Kenny' to his loved ones, Kenneth was born in Baltimore on August 4, 1991. He was a father who enjoyed spending time with his children and family. At the time of his passing, he was employed at Broadway Services and was looking forward to starting a new job at DPI Group. Those who knew him described him as the life of any party, someone who loved to dance and playfully challenge others on the dance floor.
The Baltimore Police Department's Homicide detectives have taken charge of the investigation into Mr. Wilson's death. To date, there have been no arrests made in connection with the case, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects.
