On the early morning of November 30, 2023, the life of 18-year-old Isiah Lamont Greenwood was tragically cut short. A Black male, Isiah was discovered by Northwest District patrol officers around 6:00 a.m. in the 2400 block of Talbot Road in Baltimore, Maryland, lying unresponsive in the street. He had sustained gunshot wounds, and despite the arrival of medics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Known affectionately as 'Bird' to his loved ones, Isiah was a student within the Baltimore
City Public School System with aspirations of obtaining a certification in facility maintenance. Remembered for his big heart and comedic nature, he was known for his infectious, ear-to-ear grin. His family recalled his generosity, his unwavering support for his mother, and the daily laughter he brought to his cousins and brother.
The Baltimore Police Department's Homicide detectives are actively investigating the shooting death of Isiah Greenwood. To date, no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects. The investigation remains ongoing, and police have asked for anyone with information to come forward.
