On a cold morning in West Baltimore, the lifeless body of 55-year-old Melvin White, a Black male, was discovered on a front porch in the 3000 block of Edmondson Avenue. It was approximately 9:50 a.m. on February 3, 2024, when Western District officers were initially dispatched to the scene to investigate a report of a possible overdose. Upon their arrival, they found White unresponsive, and he was pronounced deceased by medics at the scene.
