In the late hours of February 7, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the night outside a 7-Eleven on Belair Road in Baltimore, Maryland, leaving two men with life-threatening injuries. One of those men was 40-year-old Odell Curtis. Responding officers arrived at the scene around 9:48 p.m. to find Curtis and another man, 32-year-old Ricardo Brooks-Watters, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
