On April 18, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Baltimore County Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of Lake Vista Circle in Cockeysville, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Jamil Daquan Butler suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Butler was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
