On the evening of April 18, 2024, the life of 23-year-old Jamil Daquan Butler, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Cockeysville, Maryland. At approximately 9:30 p.m., Baltimore County Police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Lake Vista Circle following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Butler suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
