In the early morning hours of May 29, 2024, the life of 24-year-old Jamal Burden, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Baltimore, Maryland. His body was discovered by a resident at approximately 6:45 a.m. on the 5600 block of Bland Avenue, just a block away from his home in the northwest part of the city, near the Pimlico Race Course. He had been fatally shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
