In the early morning hours of July 2, 2024, the life of 30-year-old James Page of Washington, D.C., was cut short by gunfire in Temple Hills, Maryland. Prince George's County police officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 6800 block of Old Branch Avenue at approximately 2:40 a.m. Inside the home, they discovered Page suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
