On July 2, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Forestville, Maryland, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Diontre Mackall from Washington, D.C. The incident took place in the 3100 block of Lakehurst Avenue, near the Penn Mar Shopping Center, at approximately 10:05 p.m.
