On July 25, 2024, at approximately 9:07 p.m., Baltimore police officers responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 1900 block of Greenmount Avenue, near the Barclay and East Baltimore Midway neighborhoods. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Christopher Williams suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics arrived at the scene but were unable to save Williams, who was pronounced dead.
