On a summer evening in Pikesville, Maryland, the sound of gunfire shattered the night, leading to the tragic death of Tracey Wayman Hankins Jr. It was approximately 10:05 p.m. on August 3, 2024, when police officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Liberty Road after receiving a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, they discovered an unresponsive adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to his upper body.
