In the early morning hours of June 29, 2023, a quiet street in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood became the scene of a tragedy. Moses Olotu, a 22-year-old Black / African American male, was discovered inside a vehicle near the COA Riverwest Youth Center at the corner of North Avenue and Bremen Street. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene when police arrived around 6:30 a.m.
