Murdered

On September 11, 2023, Destiny Carter, a 22-year-old woman from Milwaukee, was shot and killed near the intersection of 24th and Hampton on the city's north side. The shooting occurred in the morning hours, and police were called to the scene following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Carter with critical injuries; she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. Another individual, a 31-year-old woman, was also injured during the incident but survived.
