On what should have been a joyous occasion, the life of 15-year-old Hispanic male Isaac Rodriguez-Duarte was tragically cut short on June 15, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He and his best friend, 16-year-old Diego Herrera-Mejia, were walking with friends after celebrating Herrera-Mejia's 16th birthday party. The group was near the 900 block of West Manitoba Street on the city's south side when a confrontation altered the course of the night and ended two young lives.
