In the early morning hours of August 23, 2024, a violent encounter in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin apartment building claimed the life of 21-year-old Detavius Ollie. The Black / African American male was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred around 1:40 a.m. near 19th and Forest Home Avenue. Another man, aged 35, was also wounded in the incident but was expected to survive his injuries.
