On Valentine's Day of 2023, the quiet of a rural Stroud, Oklahoma property was shattered by the sound of gunshots that ended the life of 41-year-old Charles Robert Griffith. The male victim was found at his residence located at 354860 E. 900 Road in Lincoln County. An investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation revealed that Griffith had been shot twice, once in the chest and once in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene on February 14, 2023.
