On June 8, 2014, Michael Howell, aged 46, was found murdered in his apartment at the Bristol Park Apartments in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Police officers responded to a "shots heard" call at the complex shortly after 11 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, they located Howell dead inside Apartment 3003. He had been shot, and the circumstances suggested a violent encounter inside his home.
