On February 14, 2024, 31-year-old Tevis Malik DeSan Chess was fatally shot in Moore, Oklahoma. The incident occurred at a residence near Southeast 14th Street and Morgan Drive, where Chess was visiting his girlfriend. According to reports, Bobby Oliver Jr., the estranged husband of Chess's girlfriend, forcibly entered the home through a window, proceeded to a back bedroom, and shot Chess multiple times.
