On March 6, 2017, 40-year-old Wilmer Erazo, owner of Flatway Transportation, was found deceased in his yard in east Houston. Around 2:30 a.m., Erazo was loading a truck when he became involved in an altercation with at least two individuals. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire around 2:45 a.m. and observed two men dressed in black fleeing the scene.
