On November 12, 2015, Patrick Petitt, a 35-year-old resident of Houston, was fatally shot inside his apartment located at 1001 Pinemont. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:30 a.m., when an unknown man was let into the apartment that Petitt shared with his uncle, Craig Miller.
