On May 11, 2024, 28-year-old Shayla Lynn Mayhugh was found deceased from gunshot wounds alongside her parents, James and Patty Mayhugh, in their Chickasha, Oklahoma, home. The discovery was made after a 911 call reported shell casings on the front porch and concerns about possible fatalities inside the residence.
