In the cool evening of October 12, 2024, the life of 24-year-old Javier Morales was cut short in an act of violence that unfolded in an Oklahoma City liquor store parking lot. That Saturday, at approximately 8:27 PM, police were called to the scene near NW 91st Street and Western Avenue, where they discovered Morales inside his car, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
