Layla Stewart, a 7-year-old girl from Vancouver, Washington, tragically lost her life on or around March 12, 2023. Layla and her mother, Meshay Melendez, 27, were last seen alive on the morning of March 12, 2023, in Vancouver. They were reported missing on March 18 when family members were unable to reach them.

On March 22, 2023, the bodies of Layla Stewart and Meshay Melendez were discovered in a rural area near Washougal, Washington. Autopsies revealed that both had been fatally shot. ...Read More
