A young woman's remains are found near a lake four years after she was last seen
Gloria Nadine Knutson, a 19-year-old 12th-grader at Hudson Bay High School, disappeared on May 31, 1974, in Vancouver, Washington. On the evening of her disappearance, Knutson had been at a nightclub called "Red Caboose," where she was seen by several acquaintances. One witness reported that Knutson sought help, claiming someone had attempted to rape her and was now stalking her. After the witness's car ran out of gas, Knutson decided to walk home but disappeared soon after.
