In the spring of 1974, Gloria Nadine Knutson was a 19-year-old Caucasian high school senior with her life ahead of her. On the evening of May 31st, she went to the Red Caboose Lounge in downtown Vancouver, Washington. In the early hours of the following morning, she made a frantic stop at a friend's house on Grant Street, claiming a man had chased and attempted to rape her. Despite the terrifying encounter, Knutson apparently decided to walk home from her friend's house and was never seen alive ...
