On April 5, 2023, 27-year-old Anthoni Jamez "AJ" Orozco was fatally shot during a confrontation at Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, Washington. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. when Orozco accompanied a 17-year-old girl and two other teenagers to confront 19-year-old Kajali Alijah Camara. The confrontation was over allegations that Camara had stolen the girl's PlayStation and posted intimate videos of their relationship online without her consent.
