Steve A. Dahl, a 68-year-old resident of Federal Way, Washington, tragically lost his life on February 13, 2024, in a shooting incident near Dash Point State Park. The Federal Way Police Department responded to a call just before 1:15 a.m. about a man lying in the roadway in the 32900 block of Hoyt Road Southwest. Initially, officers believed Dahl had been hit by a car, but further investigation revealed he had been shot.
