In the early hours of Saturday, May 4, 2024, a burst of violence shattered the quiet of a North Burien neighborhood, leaving a 42-year-old man, Robert Miera Bautista, dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The fatal shooting occurred around 1:00 a.m. in the 11800 block of 1st Ave South, near the Beverly Park area.
